THE singer has shared her first post on social media in months after almost dying of a reported drug overdose in July.

DEMI Lovato has broken her silence after leaving rehab, sharing a message on Instagram that she was “grateful” to be able to vote in the United States midterm elections.

The singer posted a photo of herself at a voting booth, urging her fans to go out and cast their vote too.

“I am so grateful to be home in time to vote! One vote can make a difference, so make sure your voice is heard! now go out and #VOTE!!!!” Lovato wrote.

It’s the first public statement Lovato has made since August when she told fans in a now deleted Instagram post that she was entering rehab.

“I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet,” she wrote.
