#HissGate? iPhone 7 users report ‘terrible’ sounds

Apple enthusiasts who got their hands on the latest iPhone model have reported hearing worrying hissing and buzzing sounds coming from their brand new devices.

According to some users, their iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus phones are emitting hissing sounds when users play games or during other activities that are heavy on the phone’s processor.

With reports of Samsung 7s exploding on unsuspecting users, the iPhone’s hissing sounds add to the worrying trend of faulty smartphones.

Not all iPhone 7s are subject to the hissing sound, but those who have experienced it are alarmed that their new, apparently ‘silent’ smartphones are struggling so audibly.
