Harry Styles has been caught having a confrontation with a man who reportedly wanted an autograph in a heated exchange on the streets of New York City.
The pop star, 32, was captured having an animated interaction with a passer-by who was reportedly holding a vinyl version of the singer’s 2019 album, Fine Line.

While full details of the argument are not yet known, TMZ reports that the man was asking for an autograph, with footage showing both him and Styles pointing their fingers at each other.
A third man is then seen stepping in between the pair, seemingly to diffuse the situation, before Styles – wearing a hoodie, cap and sunglasses – storms out of the interaction.
Footage of the incident was shared on social media, with some fans questioning whether the man was an autograph seller; someone who deals merchandise with a celebrity’s handwriting.
Other onlookers noted Styles’ previous calmness when encountering fans, saying the recent exchange “must’ve pushed” the singer too far.
“You know how much you must’ve pushed Harry to get him to yell at you like this? Crazy,” one fan wrote on X, while another said they had “never seen him lose his temper”.
“This is wild, it must have been a really bad encounter,” they added.
While he is often spotted stopping for photos with fans, Styles has confronted paparazzi in the past. In 2023, he was captured standing up to an invasive crowd that swarmed him in Barcelona, Spain, telling photographers to “calm down”.
Styles is in New York City for his 30-date Together, Together residency at Madison Square Garden in support of his latest studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The singer has recently been spotted in the city with his rumoured fiancee Zoe Kravitz, with the pair seen walking hand-in-hand in Brooklyn earlier this month.
