Former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia was spotted showing off her toned physique in California following her sensational firing.
Former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia has been spotted in Southern California showing off her toned physique following her abrupt firing after just five days in the top job.
The 42-year-old mother of four was seen strutting through Los Angeles in a bright blue sports bra, vibrant orange high-waisted leggings, white crew socks with red stripes, and cream sneakers, showing off her six-pack abs while soaking up the sun.

The candid outing marks the first time Zacharia has been seen publicly since her swift exit from President Donald Trump’s administration, which made headlines globally as the shortest stint for a White House Press Secretary in American history.
Back on home turf in California, the former Trump aide seemed to be stepping straight back into her regular lifestyle, looking fit while out on a walk.
Zacharia is a self-described cardio kickboxing enthusiast, and looked completely unfazed by the recent media storm.
Speaking to The California Post in the immediate aftermath of her dismissal on Friday, the former TV commentator insisted she had no regrets about taking on the brief, high-pressure gig.
“I’m proud I said yes, stood firm in what I believe, and kept supporting the president even when the circumstances weren’t ideal for me – showing my children what courage looks like in the face of criticism,” she declared.
Her hasty return to the West Coast comes after her time in the West Wing came to an end after just five days and a single, disastrous 14-minute press briefing.
The debut appearance saw a visibly nervous Zacharia stumble through prepared remarks, accidentally refer to her husband as “the president”, and abruptly walk away from the podium after taking questions from only three conservative news outlets.
The disaster-plagued week escalated further when questions were raised over her legal credentials, after it was revealed she had failed the bar exam despite promoting herself as a “lawyer” or “general counsel”.
Zacharia claimed that there was a distinction between a “lawyer” (someone who holds a law degree) and an “attorney” (someone licensed to practice). However, legal experts widely rejected this claim.
The mounting backlash eventually led Trump to publicly suggest she “reconsider” her role, telling reporters outside the White House that she “didn’t need” the scrutiny.
By Friday evening, the administration officially cut ties, making her tenure even shorter than former White House communications chief Anthony Scaramucci’s infamous 11-day stint in 2017.
The firing reportedly left Zacharia barely enough time to set up her desk, let alone make a full relocation to Washington, DC.
It appears the former aide was already anticipating potential trouble or attempting to manage her image before her public dismissal, with eagle-eyed social media users noticing a major clean out of her personal accounts.
Only days after stepping into the prestigious White House role, the regular Fox News commentator entered full damage control mode, overhauling her Instagram page to delete a selection of bikini snaps she had previously uploaded.
Her profile page, where she has 229,000 followers, featured a heavily curated grid showcasing highlights from her media career, her pinned post alongside Trump in a private car, and a photo alongside Floyd Mayweather on Air Force One.
The post with the controversial boxer was captioned: “You can either be a fighter or a marshmallow.”
Screenshot evidence revealed a pinned photo of Zacharia posing in a bright pink bikini while paddleboarding on a lake in September had been scrubbed from her main grid view following her appointment.
However, since her sacking, she has since made the photos public again, reigniting online chat following her sudden firing, with commentators pointing out the contrast between her curated political persona and her Californian lifestyle.
It isn’t the first time Zacharia’s fitness routine and conservative politics have landed her squarely in the headlines.
Back in February, she penned an op-ed in The New York Post detailing an incident where she claimed she was bullied at her local cardio kickboxing class simply for wearing a “Team Trump” cap.
“If a gym can’t handle a Team Trump hat without descending into hysteria, the toxicity isn’t in the wearer — it’s in the leftist rule book poisoning everything it touches,” she wrote at the time.
She defiantly wrapped up the piece with a message that seems to sum up her current outlook: “Never back down. Never surrender.”
