Kim Kardashian shows off newly bleached hair, leaving fans shocked

Kim Kardashian has flaunted her real hair dyed white blonde with bleach, leaving fans in shock over the apparent damage to her hair.

For months, the star has teased returning to her natural dark colour.

But Kim, 41, has decided to keep her platinum hair a bit longer according to new photos.

In snaps taken at an event on Sunday, the mum-of-four tar sported a skin-tight black gown with long sleeves to a funeral in Miami, Florida, The Sun reports.

She wore edgy sunglasses and a sparkly silver Balenciaga clutch, styling her icy white blonde hair in a slick back mini bun.

The TV personality clearly had her roots touched up right before the pictures were taken as her head was perfectly coloured with no dark growth visible.

Fans were shocked that the Hulu star decided to stick with her platinum look, as they took to Reddit to slam her for damaging her hair.

“She bleached the roots,” one wrote, while a second replied: ”Nature is not healing.”

“Her hair is getting so thin. There was another picture where you could see lots of pink scalp,” a third said.

A fourth wrote: “The uneven bleaching. Is she using box dye on her own?”

“Oh she not letting this blonde go,” another said.

“Her hair looks so brittle,” someone else wrote.

“I‘m a sucker for platinum hair but it does really wash out her face. It’s not that she looks older, which would be totally fine – it’s that she looks tired or sick,” another said.

 

Fans have patiently awaited Kim’s return to the dark side ever since she embraced blonde locks earlier in the year.

In September, she told Interview magazine that she planned to go darker again as the weather got cooler.

“I feel like in the [autumn] I’ll go dark,” she told the outlet.

“Just because I don’t want to damage my hair. But, I do think blondes have more fun. I just feel different.”
 

Since the interview, Kim had been spotted with her dark roots growing out as she prepared to bring back her natural colour. But it looks now like there may be a pause on a return to her natural hue.

Blonde tribute to Marilyn Monroe

Kim previously bleached her hair blonde in a tribute to Marilyn Monroe for the Met Gala in May.

However, the new look has been unpopular with fans, who have compared her platinum do to a “wig”.

Last month, the Instagram account for her shapewear brand SKIMS shared a series of images of the star where it appeared she had gone brunette again. But it turned out the snaps were a throwback.

The TV star’s followers also suspected a hair change when she was seen letting her roots grow out in recent weeks.
 

She attended Fashion Week festivities in Italy last month, where she appeared to be growing out her natural roots.

And more recently, she was spotted attending her daughter North’s basketball game.

The reality star was dressed casually for the outing, wearing a short black dress with her black roots the focal point of her platinum locks.
